Azemhe  Receives Royal Blessing From The Uzairue Kingdom In Edo North

By Austen Akhagbeme

The NNPP Governorship Candidate, Dr Azemhe Azena, on Tuesday, was received, amidst fanfare, by the palace of the Ogieneni of Uzairue, HRH Alhaji Kadiri Imonikhe Omogbai IV,  in Jattu, Edo North.

The Palace Chiefs, led by Chief Inaboya, on behalf of the revered monarch, took turns to pray for the gubernatorial candidate, and thanked God for raising a young and enterprising politician from the senatorial zone who is ready to take the state to its desired destination.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr Azemhe Azena, who hails from Okpekpe in Etsako-East, promised to break the record of performance in the area of development in Edo State, set by the erstwhile governor Adams Oshiomhole, "as records are meant to be broken and improved upon" he added.

Fielding questions from the Palace Chiefs, the NNPP Governorship Candidate allayed their fears about the so-called big parties while likening himself to the biblical David who had what it takes to bring Goliath down.

Dr Azemhe concluded his speech by calling on the people to always ask pertinent questions about the history and antecedents of performance and commitment by those seeking to be voted into power in the State to be able to judge them and make the right decision.
