‎The Executive Chairman,Edo State Sports Commission Hon Amadin Desmond Enabulele on Friday, April 3,2026 received the Sportsville Leadership Award. The award is in recognition of his pragmatic leadership style and achievements  within a short period of time he has been at the helms.
‎Receiving the Visionary Leadership award at the prestigious Lagos Country Club on Friday evening during the 6th SV Award Ceremony,the Edo State Sports Commission boss expressed gratitude to the organizers of the prestigious sports awards, Sportsville Communications Ltd for the recognition.
‎Enabulele dedicated the award to the Governor of Edo State Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo who gave him the opportunity to contribute his quota to sports development in Edo State. He also dedicated the award to his board members,Edo athletes and coaches whose sacrifices and dedication earned the state top position at the recently concluded second Niger Delta Games in Edo State.
‎" I appreciate Sportsville Communications for the honour done me and I see it as part of encouragement for us to do more. I dedicate this award to my state governor who gave me the opportunity to serve Edo State and contribute to the development of sports. This award is also for the wonderful Edo athletes, coaches and my board members who have been so supportive." He said.
‎The 6th edition of the annual Sportsville Special Recognition Award ceremony, Chaired by one of the most respected sports personalities in Africa, and founder of Brila Media, Dr Larry Izamoje, brought together sports stakeholders in celebration of sports excellence.
‎A total of twenty awardees were honoured in seven categories during the colourful ceremony 
‎In the Icon Category, the duo of Kwame Arthur and Chuka Momah were honoured while Hon Itiako Ikpokpo and Hon Wahid Oshodi were decorated with the Sports Personalities of the Year award. The National Sports Commission Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, was decorated with the prestigious Sports Transformative Impact Award.
‎Other awardees  honoured during the ceremony include Dr Femi Bankole Alibay and Bambo Akani in the Creative and Innovative Category, while the CAF Safety Officer and former basketball player and Administrator, Dr Christian Emeruwa and Felix Akiga received the Achievers Award respectively.
‎In the Special Recognition Category, the Nasarawa State Attorney General, Barr Isaac Danladi led other sports personalities to receive their awards. They are foremost Athletics announcer, golden voice Akin Afolarin, Edo State Football Association Chairman, Fred Newton Erhunmwunsee, Dr Toyin Aluko and Fausat Dehinde Yekini. The initiator of Let’s Do It Again, Toyosi Oyetunji, was also part of the elite group of awardees.
‎The Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, again received the Best Facilities award (government category) while Eagle Wings FC Sports Complex in Benin won the private sector facility category award.
‎Sportsville Award was initiated six years ago Hon Frank Ilaboya as a platform for honouring deserving members of the public; corporate organization and individuals who have contributed immensely to sports development in Nigeria.
