Enabulele Extols Bendel Insurance For Defeating Wikki Tourists 2-1 In Away Match

The Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has praised Bendel Insurance FC for their hard-fought 2–1 away victory over Wikki Tourists FC in Jos on Matchday 35 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Enabulele said the result reflects the team’s resilience, determination, and renewed focus, particularly after a difficult run of form.
He singled out Dung Emmanuel and Efe Ubiomo for their decisive contributions, noting that their performances underscore the squad’s depth and fighting spirit.
“The victory in Jos is a clear statement of intent by Bendel Insurance. It shows the team’s readiness to compete at the highest level and push for a continental slot. I commend the players, coaches, and management for their discipline and resilience,” he said.
Enabulele also highlighted the team’s defensive organisation in weathering sustained pressure from their hosts, describing it as vital at this critical stage of the season.
He urged the players to maintain the momentum in the remaining fixtures, expressing confidence in their ability to secure a strong finish on the league table.
The commission boss further reaffirmed the continued backing of Governor Monday Okpebholo, stressing the administration’s commitment to sports development and excellence in Edo State.
With the result, Bendel Insurance remain seventh on the NPFL table with 52 points and will next host Katsina United FC in their upcoming fixture.
