NPFL26: Bendel Insurance FC Suffer Defeat In Kano With 4-0

Bendel Insurance Football Club, Sunday, succumbed to a 4-0 defeat in the hands of Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League match day 33 game played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
The 4-0 encounter in Kano is the heaviest defeat the Benin Arsenals have suffered since past three seasons. And it is a big blow to their ambition this season.

scoring for the host 23 minutes into the game with a clever header. Chiedozie Okorie doubled the lead for Pillars with former Super Eagles' captain Ahmed Musa supplying the assist in the 33rd minute of play.
The Benin Arsenals however put up some resistance. from the start of the second half until 81 minutes of the game when Aminu Mohammed increased the goal tally for Pillars after finishing the task set up by former Insurance winger Bernard Ovoke's curled pass. Bernard Ovoke sealed the 4-0 victory for the host in the 85th minute of play.

The Benin Arsenals remained 7th on the league table with 46 points, and they will be back home to welcome Abia Warriors on Saturday, April 11 in the NPFL match day 34 at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.
