‎The Management of Bendel Insurance FC on behalf of Staff, Players, coaches and other stakeholders  express profound gratitude and  appreciation  to Edo sports journalist and other media  media practitioners in other parts of the country  and abroad including bloggers and influencers  for their unflinching support, dedication and unwavering commitment to their profession in the promotion of our activities, particularly coverage of our matches and positive influence.

‎We are sincerely grateful that you stood by us, keeping faith with us even in our difficult times. When the 2025/2026 of the Nigeria Premier Football League season began , we struggled at the bottom of the table till close to the mid season but you remained with us and your support and encouragement kept us going and till the end.
‎
‎We acknowledge the agenda setting roles our media friends have played over the years as well as how they have projected the image of our darling club in proper perspective through accurate reportage and by way of advice and suggestions of ideas. We say thank you for all your sacrifices. The risk of traveling long distances through the terrible roads and unfriendly conditions you find yourselves doing your professional job.

‎Despite  the harsh conditions and discomfort you sometimes find yourselves,you keep promoting Bendel Insurance in  your writings, publications, analysis and other promotional activities, helping to tell our stories.We remain grateful for for that.

‎To the supporters Club and fans,your contributions have been massive and we will not take your loyalty for granted. We appreciate your loyalty and sacrifices. You have remained evergreen in our hearts as you remain faithful even in the face of life threatening challenges your support remains undiluted and this gives us courage and strength. We say thank you.

‎Though,we could not achieve our main target - securing CAF tournament ticket - in the just concluded season,but we are however grateful for the fact that we finished among top best five in the very interesting and highly competitive league.
‎
‎Our focus is now on the President Federation Cup which is another pathway to CAF tournament.
‎
‎It is our sincere desire to do better in 2027 to bring CAF Competition to Benin City once again as we did in 2023 season. We appeal to all journalists and our fans and Supporters worldwide to keep faith with us and continue to stand up for us in the 2027 season. Together,we can achieve more.

Philanthropist Offers Scholarship To Secondary School Students In Ekiti  By Editor  A philanthropist, Dr Oluwadare Owolabi, has offered scholarships for students across some secondary schools in Ekiti State. The scholarships of N100,000 each were offered to the outstanding students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Economics and Mathematics subjects across three schools. No fewer than 17 students from Igogo Commercial High School, Igogo-Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area (LGA), Ayede Grammar School, Ayede-Ekiti, in Oye LGA and Odo Oro High School, Odo Oro Ekiti in Ikole LGA, benefited from the annual scholarship award. Gunmen Abducts 18 Passengers  In Benin-Auchi Highway, 16 Rescued Iduozee Efe Paul, Benin  Wonder they say shall not cease, as at least 18 passengers travelling on the Benin-Auchi highway in Edo State were abducted by gunmen on Friday, 5th 2025. The victims were said to be heading to Abuja in a newly launched Edo Line bus when armed men stopped the vehicle and forced them into the bush. Police operatives later arrived at the scene after the attack. A video from the incident, which has gone viral on social media, showed vehicles lined up on both sides of the highway as panic spread among commuters. Confirming the incident on Saturday, Edo State police spokesperson, Moses Iyamu, said 16 of the kidnapped passengers had been rescued. “Sixteen of these passengers have been rescued safely while the rescue operation by Edo State Police in synergy with vigilantes and hunters continues,” Iyamu said.
