Tension In Auchi As Hoodlums Kill  One Person In Ekhei

Iduozee Efe Paul, Benin


There was tension and worry as a young man has been shot dead by hoodlums, in Chairman Shaibu Street, off Ekhei Girls Road, Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The incidence is said to have happened at about 11pm according to a source who reported that 2 shots were heard at the time.

It is unclear that who the gunmen are and what is their motive, but the Police, Vigilante who were called to the scene promised to get to the root of the matter with a view to getting justice for the dead.

Source reports that family of the dead have since taken the remains of son to Ivbiaro where he hailed from -for burial according to Islamic rites, according to asbnews.net
