The first is Alájobí (shared progeny or blood tie), and the other is Alájogbé (co-residentship). In Yoruba worldview, the two concepts, sociologists say, “are not mutually exclusive but function together to create a stable society.” While Alájobí establishes a person in their specific origin, Alájogbé widens the horizon by teaching individuals to live peacefully and harmoniously with people of diverse backgrounds and opposing views – either political or religious. EFCC Arraigns Former Port Harcourt, Warri Refinery MDs, Dikko, Yisawu Over Alleged Money Laundering By Editor    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned the immediate past Managing Directors of Nigeria’s Port Harcourt and Warri refineries, Ahmed Adamu Dikko and Jimoh Yisawu, before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja over alleged money laundering linked to refinery rehabilitation funds. According to court documents filed by the anti-graft agency, Dikko is facing a 12-count charge, while Yisawu is standing trial on an eight-count charge.  The charges border on alleged money laundering, abuse of office, concealment of illicit funds, and conducting large cash transactions outside the banking system in violation of Nigeria’s anti-money laundering laws. NSCDC Arrests Two Suspected Pipeline Vandals In Ekpoma Iduozee Efe Paul, Benin  In line with the security component of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s SHINE Agenda, which focuses on creating a safer environment, protecting critical infrastructure and strengthening public confidence, two suspected pipeline vandals have been arrested in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State. The arrest followed a joint operation by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Edo State Governor on Pipeline Surveillance and Security.
