CAF Award:  Emmanuel Okoebor Hails Osimhen 




A leading aspirant in the Edo 2024 Governorship election on the platform of  the All Progressives Congress (APC)  has congratulated Nigeria's Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, on winning the CAF 2023 Men's Player of the Year award. 

Okoebor who hailed  Osimen's outstanding performances on both national and international arena  said Osimen is a pride to Nigeria and an inspiration to  our youths.


In a press statement personally signed by the Governorship Aspirant and made available to newsmen, Okoebor said, "Watching Victor Osimen, the great ambassador of Nigeria stand atop the podium as the African Footballer of the Year, in the men categories, on Monday night in Marrakesh, Morocco, has strengthened our belief that with hard work, perseverance and good leadership Edo state as a people can achieve all the greatness life is capable of offering.


"I join Edo fans and other millions of his admirers across the globe to celebrate an accomplished star who through dint of hard work and dedication has achieved impressive feats", the statement concluded.
