8th CHAN: Super Eagles B Intensify Prep Ahead Ghana Clash

...Thrash  G-12 FC In Friendly As Insurance Captain Nets Superb Goal

The Super Eagles B on Wednesday walloped G-12 FC  5-1 in a friendly as they have intensified their preparation for the 8th African Nations Championship,(CHAN) crucial qualifiers against Black Galaxies of Ghana.

The game played at the exquisite Remo Stars’ Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, is part of Nigeria"s preparations ahead of the  home-and-away qualifying fixture against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

El-Kanemi Warriors 'winger Al-Amin Umar opened scoring for the home based Super Eagles just a minute into the game 
while Kano Pillars defender Nelson Abiam and
 Bendel Insurance captain Meyiwa Oritseweyinmi increased the tally to 3-0 in the 
14th and 17th minutes of play with superb goals just as Ikorodu City's midfielder Waliu Ojetoye supplied the needed assist. 

The Bendel Insurance Skipper's superb goal gave the CHAN Eagles a comfortable lead into the halftime break.

In the second half of the entertaining game, a beautiful pass from Nasarawa Utd striker Anas Yusuf finds Abia Warriors' dangerman 
Sunday Megwo who fired in the 4th goal for Eagles B in the 51st minute. Megwo struck again in the 74th minute with Waliu Ojetoye's assist to wrap it up before their opponents managed to pull a goal back to get their consolation 

Coaches Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ikechukwu who earlier justified the selection of players across NPFL clubs added that the team is already taking good shape ahead of  the first leg, scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, 22nd December.

Coach Ogunmodede assured Nigerians that things will be different in the game with Ghana's Black Galaxies in this edition. 
"Ghana has been Nigeria's nightmare in this competition in the past but we are working hard to make a difference this time",He added
