Nigerians and Edo indigenes have been advised to get themselves relaxed and socialized in a pocket friendly places to enhance their healthy living in the society.
Chief Executive Officer, Avin Grand Royal Resort, Chief Steven Imade Ekhator, stated this while speaking at the official opening of the hotel for public usage.
Chief Ekhator said growing up, he always dreamt of going into business especially social centres and relaxation spots, hence the birth of such a gigantic edifice for people to lodge and also engage in recreation activities.
Chief Ekhator stated that despite the harsh economic reality of the country, people should think out of the box to build their future and empower themselves economically.
He advised people to cut their coat according to their clothes and be contented with whatever they have.
Chief Ekhator advised people to avoid unnecessary spending and adjust to the economic reality of the country to avoid unnecessary stress.
Pastor Azemhe Azena of Omega Fire Ministry, who commissioned the hotel, prayed for the success and sustenance of the edifice.
Pastor Azemhe who was visibly excited, thanked the CEO of Avin Grand Royal Resort, Chief Ekhator for such a laudable initiative and called on well meaning and affluent persons to follow suit and develop the state.
The event was attended by stakeholders from all walks of life in attendance, including the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe who also graced the occasion.
Benin cultural troop also entertained guests with their musical rendition to add spice to the occasion.
The event climaxed with cutting of the ribbon by Pastor Azemhe Azena who officially commissioned the hotel with prayers.
Highlight was the inspection of the facilities in the hotel.
