Edo CRPP Boss Calls On Okpebholo To Tackle Insecurity, Food Problem

The Edo state chairman of Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Dr. Samson Isibor, has called on the governor Monday Okpebholo to tackle the issue of insecurity in the state.
Dr. Isibor made the statements at the award ceremony where he recognised and honoured outstanding leaders across both the public, private and politician who have contributed in their various fields in Edo state.
He said," we want to bring to the attention of the Governor that what he has done so far is beyond the expectations of the people of the state.
" The insecurity situation in Edo state is quite alarming and overwhelming, Edo people cannot sleep with their two
eyes close again.
" The bandits, Fulani herdsmen and terrorists have taking over our bushes, highways and farms. They have choked us to the extend of chasing us into our homes to pick us like fowls.
," That is why we are calling on Governor Okpebholo to come to our rescue to fulfill his electioneering promises and to deliver us from the hands of bandits and herdsmen.
" The bandits have impoverish us through unbearable levy ranging from ₦20m, ₦100m and above. Edo State is one of the poorest state in the Federation, with our lamentation of no work no food some bandits will still capture us like prisoner of war demanding unbearable ransom from the impoverish masses of Edo State.
" Gov. Okpebholo should rise up to the occasion and free us from this situation we found ourselves, we know that some psycophants are calling you different nickname us as Akpako rescue, Akpako Messiah which you are not.
"After one year in office, nothing have changed in our lives, we are still as poor as never before, high cost of food, there is no job, thousands of our gradates children one still roaming about the streets looking for jobs that is nowhere to be found," he lamented.
Extolling the Governor for his many achievements in one year in office especially projects like the Murtala Mohammed overhead Bridge.
Others are; the overhead bridge at Adesuwa Road Junction on Sapele Road and the reactivation of the dysfunction Edo Line the Coalition inferred that “Edo people cannot sleep with their two eyes closed again, the bandits, Fulani herdsmen and terrorists have taken over our bushes, highways and farms.
Highpoint of the programme was the award of certificate of recognition and plaques to ten individuals on account of their achievement in various endeavours of life.
Those given an awards are; Rev. Stanley Asabor, Chief Stanley Ndubuisi and the Igbo Union, 7up Bottling Co., Mr. Lucky Osita, Deacon Friday Ekhorutomwen (JP) our father Bishop Dr. Bright Olumense (JP), Amb. Ikponwosa Clement, Dr. Wilson Imongan and Comrade Hon. Roy Ononodena Oribabhor.
