ITV/Radio To Celebrates Founder’s Day With Lecture, Other Activities


The Independent Television and Radio (ITV/Radio) is set to celebrate it Founder’s Day as well as 29 years of existence with lecture series to answer salient questions on the topic ‘Quo Vadamus’ Nigeria, Where Are We Going?


This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Comrade Efosa Uwangue and made available to journalists in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

The statement explained that the event will feature erudite academic scholars such as the former pro-chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Sir, Chief Lawson Omokhodion as the Keynote Speaker.

It revealed that His Excellency, Sir Chief (Dr.) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom will be the Chief Host while the Edo State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua and Dr. (Mrs.) Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, Director General, Edo State Diaspora Agency will serve as panelists.

According to the statement, other prominent academia that are expected in the occasion are Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Benin, Prof. Marcel Okhakhu and former Director, Guild of Editors of Nigeria, Dr. Victor Okhai.

It further said that the event which will take place on the 23rd April, 2026 holds at EHIZUA HUB, Opposite ITV Glass House, Airport Road, Benin Coty at 9:30am prompt.

The statement urges invited guests, members of the public and those who are tasted for knowledge to be part of this mind blowing and epoch making event.
