UNIBEN Staff Remanded In Prison Over Alleged N3.2m Fraud

Iduozee Efe Paul, Benin 

A staff of the University of Benin, Segun Bode Adeniyi, has been docked before an Edo State High Court over N3.29m fraud.

Adeniyi was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before Justice E. G. Adekanmbi on a four-count charge bordering on fraudulent practice to the tune of N3,285,396.

He was alleged to be drawing salaries from the National Orthopedic Hospital, Benin City, even as a staff of UNIBEN.
