BSG Greets Irabor, Otimenyin On Their Promotion To AIG

The Benin Summit Group has congratulated Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) Osagie John Agans Irabor and Betty Enekpen Otimenyin on their promotion from the rank of Commissioner of Police to Assistant Inspector General of Police.
This followed a statement signed by its Convener, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, the group described the promotions as well-deserved recognition of the officers’ professionalism, integrity, dedication, and distinguished service to the Nigeria Police Force and the nation.
The group extolled AIG Irabor, who is attached to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Lagos, for his exemplary leadership and commitment to tackling crime.
It also praised AIG Otimenyin, formerly Commissioner of Police in charge of the Force Welfare Department, for her outstanding contributions to the welfare of police personnel and their families.
According to the statement, both officers have demonstrated exceptional commitment to protecting lives and property, promoting justice, and upholding the highest standards of policing throughout their careers.
The Benin Summit Group further described the two senior police officers as worthy ambassadors of Edo State whose achievements serve as an inspiration to younger generations to embrace excellence, discipline, and selfless service.
Expressing confidence in their ability to excel in their new roles, the group said it believes both AIGs will continue to uphold the ideals of professionalism, integrity, and excellence while making even greater contributions to national security and the advancement of the Nigeria Police Force.
The group also prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, good health, and continued success for the newly promoted officers as they assume their new responsibilities.
