Adesuwa Ehimuan Appointed TTB National Director of Engagement Edo State

BENIN CITY— Hon Adesuwa Ehimuan, a former aspirant for the Edo State House of Assembly, Oredo East Constituency and immediate past Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Edo State Chapter, has been appointed National Director of Engagement, Edo State Chapter, Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB).

Her appointment was contained in a list of National Directors of Engagement approved by the National Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Convener of the Tinubu Torch Bearers, Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele, PhD.

The appointment is part of efforts by the Tinubu Torch Bearers to strengthen its engagement structure across Nigeria, deepen grassroots interaction and advance its mobilisation and advocacy activities.

As National Director of Engagement, Edo State Chapter, Hon. Adesuwa Ehimuan is expected to coordinate the movement’s engagement activities across the state, strengthen relationships with stakeholders and promote grassroots participation.

Her experience in politics, media and women-focused advocacy is expected to contribute to her new role. She previously contested for a seat in the Edo State House of Assembly to represent Oredo-East Constituency and also served as Chairperson of NAWOJ for two term in Edo State Chapter, where she was involved in initiatives focused on women and professional development.

The TTB said the newly appointed directors have been entrusted with the responsibility of fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders, coordinating engagement activities, amplifying the values of the movement and ensuring that the voice of the people remains central to its activities.

The movement described the appointments as part of a new architecture of engagement aimed at building a structured and people-oriented network capable of connecting communities, women, youths and other stakeholders across Nigeria.

With her appointment, Hon Adesuwa Ehimuan is expected to lead the TTB’s engagement efforts in Edo State while contributing to the movement’s broader advocacy for the policies and programmes associated with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Tinubu Torch Bearers congratulated the newly appointed directors and charged them to approach their responsibilities with discipline, integrity, humility and a strong commitment to service.
