Gov Okpebholo Appoints  Alenkhe's As Substantive MD Of EBS

Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the appointment of  Festus Alenkhe, as the substantive Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS).

This was contained in a press release statement issued by the 
Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq, said De. Festus Alenkhe is a seasoned broadcaster with extensive experience in journalism, media practice and public service.


The statement read,"The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public that the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Festus Alenkhe as the substantive Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS).

"Alenkhe is a seasoned broadcaster with extensive experience in journalism, media practice and public service. 

"He has served in various leadership capacities, including Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council and Chairman, Nigerian Red Cross, Edo State Branch.

"Until his appointment, Alenkhe served as the Acting Managing Director of EBS, where he demonstrated effective leadership and commitment to the advancement of the Service.

"The appointment, which takes immediate effect, underscores the State Government’s commitment to strengthening the leadership and professional capacity of the Edo Broadcasting Service towards enhanced service delivery to the people of Edo State."

Bishop Of Auchi, Dunia Blames Edo Police For Death Of Seminarian  By Editor  The Catholic Bishop of Auchi Diocese, Most Rev. ASUU Accuses AAU Authorities  For Spreading Falsehood  Iduozee Efe Paul The Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has accused the AAU authorities for deliberately misinforming the public over the sorry state of affairs at the state owned tertiary institution.
