UNIBEN To Induct Edo NUJ  Chairman, Dr Festus Alenkhe Into Faculty Hall Of Fame Oct 23. The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, Dr Festus Alenkhe will be inducted into the University of Benin (UNIBEN)'s  Faculty of Management Sciences Hall of Fame.         The lnduction/Award ceremony will take place on October 23, 2024 at 10am.  The ceremony, coinciding with a public lecture, will take place at the Professor Festus Iyayi Building, Ugbowo Campus of the University.  In a letter addressed to Dr. Festus Alenkhe by the Dean of the  Faculty of Management Sciences, Professor A. O. Enofe highlighted Comrade Alenkhe's nomination as a recognition of his exceptional contributions and dedication marking him as a distinguished figure in his field.

Ondo PDP Calls For  The Removal Of INEC Commissioner  Ondo State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Oluwatoyin Babalola The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday expressed lack of confidence in the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Ondo state, Oluwatoyin Babalola. The governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, therefore called on the national chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Yakubu Mahmoud, to remove the commissioner ahead of the governorship election slated for November 16 in the state.
