Says Abuja Politicians  Sponsoring Killings In Benue By Editor  The governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia has accused Abuja-based politicians of instigating some of the attacks and killings in the state. Alia while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today said politicians and lawmakers in the National Assembly are sponsoring the deadly attacks in Benue. Describing the gruesome killings of many and maiming of Benue residents as unacceptable, Alia said his claims are backed by recent findings by a judicial panel set up by the state. While the governor did not mention the names of the politicians sponsoring these attacks, he said that the interim report from the panel indicted several top Abuja politicians.
