" Now, the governor has the prerogative actually to appoint whoever competent, the important thing is competence, looking at the competence of the individual and looking at whether the person can deliver or not.

"It is not based on sentiment because he looked at track records and that was what made him to make that appointment because he knows that If we have the right thing, we will bring his desires to fruition. His desires is that the good people of Edo state have a lot to do in the healthcare space that will be good for them."

She continued,"One thing that we discovered that a lot of those contractual arrangements that we met on place were not very favorable to the government and the good people of Edo state.

"You have people coming to render services here, contractual arrangements where they cut away a lot more and nothing goes to the government. And then you have the government having to provide a lot to run the place. And we are reviewing all of this."

The hospital was indebted to a very large tune. And in fact It was as if services was going to grind down," she stated.

"We are just planning to have a retreat for the management staff and some key personals in the hospital, because we realize that we need a lot on the job training.

"We need a lot of retreat introspect into the things we do and to make improvement into the things we do. All these efforts are gets towards making this place a better place, making us and repositioning us in a place that will make us to have better delivery services."
