‎NWFL MD 12: Edo Queens Spank Ekiti Queens 2-0 As Team Maintains Impressive Run 
‎As predicted by many football followers in Benin,Edo Queens Football Club of Benin, yesterday secured a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Ekiti Queens FC as they continued with their impressive run in the Nigeria Women Football League 
‎Rebecca Adegbemile broke the deadlock for Edo Queens in the 26th minute of action after the visitors had showed some  strong resistance. Atume Doosuur  sealed victory for the Benin based team in the 45th minute shortly before halftime whistle with a fine header.
‎It was a comfortable and dominant performance for Edo Queens FC in the second half of the match as they dictated the pace, leaving their opponents Ekiti Queens FC helpless.
‎Recall that Edo Queens pipped Ekiti Queens 1-0 in front of their home fans in the first leg  in a highly tensed  match, played at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium Ado-Ekiti.
‎The 2-0 victory over struggling Ekiti Queens has sustained Edo Queens in sitting second in group A table with 27 points after 12 matches. Ekiti Queens on the other hand sit on the seventh position with 10 points before the match day 12 encounter in Benin,with six matches remaining in the current regular season before the prestigious Super six showdown.
‎Edo Queens will fly to Adamawa State where they will face Adamawa Queens at Makwada Stadium in match day 13 of the NWFL in Yola.
