Team Edo Commences 3rd National Para Games On Impressive Race In Abuja

As the ongoing 3rd National Para Games, 'Abuja 2026' enters its day three of competition,Team Edo has harvested four gold medals to match their impressive performance so far.
Team Edo secured the four gold medals in para Table Tennis with Ivie Edogiawerie Perculiar and Blessing Aiwekhoe leading the charge.
Ivie Peculiar Edogiawerie delivered a brilliantly, clinching 2 Gold in the women open singles and Class 10 women singles respectively while Blessing Aiwekhoe also posted outstanding result securing gold in the Class 5 women singles and Mixed doubles event together with Olowe
Ada Okungbowa won Bronze medal in the men single class 5 just as Kazeem Adejunye won Bronze also in the men class 4 category.
Edo state Sports Commission sent 90 man Team, participating in 10 sports at the 2026 3rd National Para Games holding in Abuja.
The ten sports team Edo is featuring include. Para Athletics,Para Swimming,Para Badminton, Para Cycling ,Para Canoeing and Para Karate. Others include:
Para powerlifting ,Para table Tennis, Para Taekwondo, Para Wheelchair Tennis.
