NPFL: Bendel Insurance Beats Plateau Utd I-0 To Advance For Next Match Iduozee Efe Paul, Benin Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin, on  Saturday, 14, October, 2023, defeated Plateau Utd 1-0 in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 3 engagement in Benin city , at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. Benjamin Tanimu scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute of the game. He neatly converted a spot kick awarded Insurance following the penalty against the harsh tackle on Austin Ogunye by the visiting Plateau Utd defender inside the box. Tanimu Benjamin, Sunday Anyanwu and the stand-in captain Amas Obasogie were solid at the back, staving off the visitors who made good efforts to share the spoils.
